Free icons for PowerPoint

Icons that hold a slide together: business, growth, process, people and status. All in one line style, so a 30-slide deck still looks like one deck.

Best format
SVG in PowerPoint 365 (recolor in PowerPoint), PNG for older versions
Size
PNG at 512px for full-screen projection

How to use icons in PowerPoint

  1. 1

    Download SVG

Open an icon and download the SVG. PowerPoint for Microsoft 365 and PowerPoint 2019 or later can insert SVG files directly.

  2. 2

    Insert it

Insert, Pictures, This Device, then pick the SVG. Drag a corner to resize: it stays sharp at any size, even on a 4K projector.

  3. 3

    Recolor in PowerPoint

Select the icon and use Graphics Format, Graphics Fill or Graphics Outline to match your theme. For full control, right-click and choose Convert to Shape.

  4. 4

    Older PowerPoint or Keynote

Download a 512px PNG instead. Pick your theme color before downloading, since a PNG cannot be recolored in the slide.

Tips

  • Use icons at the same size in every slide of a section, for example 64px for list items and 160px for a hero icon.
  • One icon per idea. A row of three icons above three short labels is one of the clearest slide layouts there is.
  • Match the stroke color to your heading color and keep the accent color for one highlighted icon per slide.
