Size

How to use icons in infographics

  1. 1

    Plan by section

Give each section of the infographic one icon and one color. The color picker above previews the whole set so you can test a palette.

  2. 2

    Download SVG

SVG keeps strokes editable in Figma and Illustrator, so you can match the stroke to your chart lines.

  3. 3

    Keep sizes consistent

Use one icon size per level: for example 96px for section headers and 48px for list items.

  4. 4

    Export the final graphic

Export the finished infographic as PNG for the web or PDF for print. The icons scale with it without blurring.

Tips

  • Set the icon stroke to the same width as your chart lines and dividers. It makes the whole graphic feel drawn by one hand.
  • Numbers carry the story. Put the icon next to the stat, not instead of it.
  • Use the chart icons (pyramid, funnel, timeline, Venn) as layout ideas, not just decoration.
